Yikes!  I am so excited and nervous to deliver the painting to Alyssa and Matt!  They have waited patiently for over six months for their painting to be completed and dry enough to transport and hang.  I have shared progress shots as I completed each phase of the painting, but they haven't seen the finished version yet.

I decided to tape the paper mock-up that I painted for their approval over the front of the painting so that we could do a Fixer Upper-style unveiling.  Unfortunately I am not very good with shooting video in the moment, but I'll share it here anyway...

I wanted to capture the expression on their faces when they first saw the painting and it was very satisfying.  This piece was so much fun for me to do and I hope they enjoy it in their home as much as I enjoyed the process.  Here is another short video with their reactions:

I have also recorded a 3-4 minute video describing my process that you can view here:

I really love the texture that the R&F Pigment Sticks allowed me to bring to the surface of this piece.  Here are some detail photos that let you see it up close...

Look back a couple posts for a walk-through of the commission process and email me at [email protected] if you would like to have a painting commissioned for your home or office.

P.S. - I have two more 4'x6' canvasses sitting here, just waiting for you...
